Twas the week after New Year
We faced with no fear
and all through the library
many readers did tarry.
Staff were bustling about
Checking in and checking out
Helping patrons find books
And information to boot
At the computers, taking looks
For patrons they root.
Our programs are fresh
with patrons interests they mesh.
Socastee Library is open to all
For staff, service doesn't pall.
Wishing patrons a good year,
They were all full of cheer.
